About SucreTravel

Meet Victor Sejas
I’m Victor — a civil engineer turned software engineer working remotely with global teams. I’ve built roads, infrastructure, and now digital products. But what I’m most proud of is SucreTravel: a way to help travelers experience Bolivia through local eyes, not tourist traps. It’s for people who want real stories, real food, real pace — not scripts. Just the Sucre I know, and the one I think you’ll love.
My Story

I was born in Sucre and never really left — not in spirit, anyway. My first career was in civil engineering, working on roads, buildings, and local infrastructure all across Bolivia. That work took me deep into the country's architecture, culture, and daily life — far beyond what tourists normally see.
Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with code. I taught myself full-stack development, started working with US-based tech teams remotely, and built a new kind of freedom into my life. But no matter how far tech took me, Sucre always pulled me back — with its old-world charm, walkable streets, and layered history.

That’s why I created SucreTravel. It’s not a tourism business — it’s a way to show people like you what Bolivia really feels like, through the eyes of someone who builds here, lives here, and speaks your language. No scripts, no buses, no tourist traps — just real connection, local food, honest stories, and a slower pace that hits different when you’ve been online too long.
